2009 will go down as the year that The Wall of Bad ass re-emerged on the scene! When the thought of bringing back the wall came to us, who knew that the idea would grow to become an international sensation! Phone calls and e-mails from the United Kingdom, Tokyo Japan, and even Maumee, Ohio flooded the inboxes and voice mail boxes of the Wall of Bad Ass offices. People wanted to let their voice be heard and nominate their favorites. below is a look at how the scoring broke down for the 2009 candidates.

The voting format was a 10-5-3 point system based on votes, and as you can see our Bad Ass Mother F*er Award winner was Terry Tate office Linebacker. People respect the office linebacker still to this day! Sully busted into the voting with a huge lead, enough that most of us in the WOBA offices felt it was a given that he would take the top prize, but as the votes trickled in during the last few weeks, and Tate took his campaign to the streets, Terry Tate made a huge comeback with 7 total first place votes.

Another close one was the fight between New Jack and Donte Stallworth. Stallworth would no go away with so many third place votes. At one point in the voting he was the number 2 man! As the story of New Jack got out and voters realized what might happen if he didn't become a first ballot WOBA member, the second place votes started to come in. After a lots of consideration, and the fact the Terry Tate blew the competition away with his win, the committee decided for this year only, to accept Donte onto the wall. We don't know exactly how popular he will be next year, and if he was going on, it was going to be in 2009.

Now, as far as MJ's Handlers and Gangsta Fag, lots of people were shocked that they didn't get more votes. Fedor will be the man who just misses the cut off for next years ballot. 2010 Wall of Bad Ass Nominees with be picked by YOU the VOTERS. A 2 week open forum will be introduced so you can let your voice be heard. Why should your guy be on the ballot? Billy Mays and Maurice Clarrett will be AUTOMATICALLY back on the ballot for 2010, leaving 8 slots to be filled for new nominees. Voting will take place for 1 month and we will then introduce 3 more members in 2010.
