Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger
Lets face it, what Sully did this year, landing his U.S. Airways jet in the Hudson river and having everyone survive was truly a miracle. It's not a surprise that as of this update Sully is the #1 vote getter and is in stiff competition with two others for the B.A.M.F. award. He is a former U.S. Air force fighter Pilot, Big 10 grad, and luckily for those on board US Airways flight 1549 he runs his own airplane safety consulting business! He was the perfect pilot for the situation! A few weeks after the crash, it was revealed that Sullenberger had lost a library book about professional ethics, Just Culture: Balancing Safety and Accountability, in the plane's cargo hold. When he called the library to notify them of the lost book, they waived the usual fees. Mayor Bloomberg replaced the book when giving Sullenberger the Key to the City. If Sully does gain access to the WOBA, you can celebrate his induction with the I LOVE SULLY T!
